Biography
Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, co founding member of the legendary tag team - The Hart Foundation along with
Bret "The Hitman" Hart, and manager "Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart, has seen a professional wrestling career that has taken
him worldwide, as he has powered his way to the top of every promotion he has wrestled for.....after leaving the world of
Professional Football where he was a member of both the Dallas Cowboys and Oakland Raiders, Neidhart entered the world of
wrestling with a power based attack not matched by many in the ring....his early days saw him venture to two of the toughest
territories in wrestling, Stu Hart's Stampede Wrestling and Bill Watt's Mid South Wrestling, leaving his impact as one of
the top tag team partners going, winning Championships in both promotions.....earned the nicname "Anvil" by winning a contest
to determine the "Best Anvil Tosser in the World"....also was a force in both the singles and tag team ranks of his home state
of Florida in the early 80's....always a top contender to the various Heavyweight Championships during the 80's as his powerhouse,
brawling style usually lead him to the top of the rankings....early days in the WWF saw him managed by Mr Fuji before he joined
up with Jimmy Hart and they paired up with Bret Hart to form the legendary tag team - The Hart Foundation...this duo went
on to become both one of the most successful tag teams of all time in WWF/E history winning two World Tag Team Championships
and becoming involved in epic tag team battles with the British Bulldogs, Can Am Connection, Strike Force, Killer Bees, Rockers
and Demolition - all matches are still talked about today by fans nearly 15 - 20 years later....WWF/E owner Vince McMahon
considers the Foundation his favorite tag team of all time, once Bret and Jim went their own ways, Neidhart teamed with
brother in law Owen Hart in a team called the New Foundation....during his time in the WWF/E Jim was always a fixture on the
monthly pay per veiw events and considers Wrestle Mania 3 as one of his most memorable matches of his career....rejoined Bret
Hart along with Davey Boy Smith, Owen Hart and Brian Pillman in the late 90's to reform the Hart Foundation, this time a unit
that was intensly hated in the United States but adored in Canada during a memorable anti United States run....later went
on to WCW, getting the largest contract in his wrestling career based on his popularity worldwide.....still a top draw
today all over North America in various independent promotions, also attending various Legends conventions....has trained
various young wrestlers over the years, and many today say he was an influence on their careers....considered by many as one
of the greatest tag team wrestlers of all time.
